The "Tivat Literary Summer" event, organized by the Tivat City Library, continues on Monday, June 23rd, when, starting at 21.30:XNUMX PM, a literary evening by Slovenian writer Mojca Kumerdej will be held in the garden of the Tivat Museum and Gallery.

In a conversation with moderator Dr. Miomir Abović, editor of the publication at the Public Institution City Library, Kumerdej will present his award-winning collection of short stories "The Deaf Room".
Mojca Kumerdej was born in Ljubljana, where she graduated in philosophy and sociology of culture. She has worked as a playwright, writes about art, science, culture, and collaborates with institutes for intermedia art.
She has won numerous awards, such as the prestigious Prešeren Award for the novel "The Harvest of Chronos" (2016) and the Cankar Award for the collection of short prose "The Deaf Room" (2022).
For the Serbian edition of the story collection "Dark Matter" she received the Kočić Pen Award.
