The theater play "Tre sorelle" produced by the Tivat Cultural Center will be performed on Wednesday, July 16th at 21.30:XNUMX PM in the large hall of the Tivat Cultural Center, as part of the accompanying program of the International Mediterranean Theater Festival "Purgatory".
According to the text Stevan Koprivica. the play was directed by Zoran Rakocevic, and they play in it: Marija Đurić, Maša Labudović, Jelena V. Đukić, Vule Marković, Omar Bajramspahić i Pavle Popović.
"Tre sorelle" is a story about three sisters from Prčanj in the Bay of Kotor who fall in love with the same sailor, Damjan.
"His ship 'Diavolo' is also anchored in Boka Bay, although no one has seen that ship. The horse on which he rode to the rented room in the sisters' house, which their brother betrayed to him, is also not nearby, and there are no traces of hoofs. Such a mysterious young man awakens the same emotions in the sisters, reviving their dreams. The sisters find out that they have confessed their love for the same young man to each other, and briefly fighting for him, even against their brother, they surrender to their demons. Nera, Bianca and Rosa hide the horrors of the Boka Bay humidity within themselves, waiting for someone to come and dry them. Another male character, Jojo, has been consumed by stagnation, imprisoned by dreams and his own demons. These demons of theirs, lightly called fate, love, legend, and the play raise the question of freedom, dogma, tradition, religion, erotic codes, rebellion," stated the producers of the play from the Tivat Cultural Center.
