The domestic festival premiere of the Montenegrin feature film "Obraz" has been announced for August 27th at the Kanli Tower in Herceg Novi, as part of the Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival.
The film is scheduled for 21 p.m., and a significant number of authors and collaborators on this project will pay tribute to the audience.
A day later, the film will close the Postfestum - the film program of the 38th "Bar Chronicle", on August 28th at 21 pm on the Summer Stage of the Bar Cultural Center.
"The film is inspired by a true event that was written by a Montenegrin academic based on these motives." Zuvdija Hodzic, according to the script Ana Vujadinović i Meline Pote Koljević, and director Vukčević is a collaborator on the script. The film was visually shaped by the director of photography Djordje Stojiljkovic, the set designer is deceased Stanislav Nikičević, costume designer Lidija Jovanovic, while the composer was in charge of the music Dusan Maksimovski, te Mass i Milica Vujadinović who composed and sang the film's main theme. The film's main editor is Olga Toni, while the visual effects were created by Đuro Mihaljević and Đorđe Stojiljković. The sound designer and mixer is Igor Vujović with a Croatian colleague Dario Domitrović. In executive production are Milorad Radenović i Jelena Filipovic. They are co-producers Nevena Savić i Ivica Vidanović from the Belgrade production company Cinnamon Films – who have been with this film since its very beginning, and Dario Domitrović from Zagreb-based production company Embrio; associated producers are Christoph Thoke (Mogador Film Germany) and Boris Raonic "on behalf of RTVCG and their public co-production competition," the statement said.
"Obraz" is a Montenegrin-Serbian-Croatian-German co-production that brings together internationally and regionally famous actors and talents. The main role is played by Edon Rizvanolli from the Netherlands, and also has roles in: Nikola Ristanovski, Igor Bencina, Alban Ukaj, Selman Jusufi and Xhejlane Terbunja, Aleksandar Radulovic, Branimir Popovic, Ana Vuckovic and doyen of Montenegrin acting Zef Bato Dedivanović in his last film role. The demanding roles of children are played by: Elez Adžović, Vuk Bulajić, Merisa Adžović i Hana Pavlovic.
Obraz was created with co-financial support through public competitions from the Film Center of Montenegro, the Film Center of Serbia (first-place project in the competition in autumn 2020), the Croatian Audiovisual Center, the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, RTVCG and support from CEKUM.
