The Embassy of Finland in Belgrade and KIC "Budo Tomović" are organizing the exhibition "80 Years of Moomin Stories", dedicated to the famous characters from the pen of the Finnish writer and illustrator Tuve Janson, whose works have marked the childhoods of generations around the world.
Ambassador of Finland, Niklas Lindqvist will open the exhibition tomorrow at 19 p.m., in the lobby of the KIC "Budo Tomović", as part of the Embassy's program dedicated to marking the 80th anniversary of the creation of the beloved Moomin stories by the famous Finnish artist Tuva Jansson.
For 80 years, Moomins have captured the hearts of readers around the world with their engaging stories and universal themes. Moomins are not just imaginative children's stories. They convey profound messages about family and friendship, adventure and exploration, acceptance and tolerance, and nature and the environment. Tove Jansson, whose native language was Swedish, created a world that continues to inspire and connect people of all ages.
The exhibition will be open until October 17, 2025.
