American actress, director and producer Diana Keaton, whose work left an indelible mark on the world of film, has died at the age of 80, People magazine reports, citing a statement from a family spokesperson.
The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed.
Diana Keaton became famous for her role as Kay Adams in Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" trilogy, but her real success came with Woody Allen's 1977 film "Annie Hall," for which she won an Oscar for Best Actress.
She was born in Los Angeles in 1946 as Diana Hall.
Before becoming a movie star, she began her career on Broadway.
