“Ćamil Sijarić” Award to Darko Cvijetić for the book “Too Much for Me. Eight Girls”

By a majority vote, the "Ćamil Sijarić" award for 2025 went to Darko Cvijetić for the book "Too Much for Me. Eight Girls".

For the "Ćamil Sijarić" award, selectors from Montenegro Draško Došljak i Kemal Music, from Serbia Petar V. Arbutina, from Bosnia and Herzegovina Dijana Hadžizukic and from Croatia Sinan Gudžević They proposed 16 prose books. In the first round, the books “1983” stood out. Miljenko Jergović and “Too Much for Me. Eight Girls” by Darko Cvijetić. By a majority vote, it was decided that the “Ćamil Sijarić” award would go to Darko Cvijetić for the novel “Too Much for Me. Eight Girls”.

The award will be presented to the laureate at the Sijarić Literary Meetings on December 18, the birthday of Ćamil Sijarić, in Bijelo Polje.
