Timeless, interesting and unusual life stories can be viewed on November 28th and 29th in Podgorica by visitors to the Cultural and Information Center "Budo Tomović", which, as part of its regular film program, is organizing the "True Stories" review.
The screenings of two new films will be held in the digitalized cinema hall of the KIC at 20 p.m., all in accordance with the highest cinema standards, providing viewers with top-notch picture and sound quality, the organizers announce.
On November 28, audiences can expect the thriller "Roofman" from 2025, which tells the story of a man living on the edge between reality and his ideals, balancing between moral decisions and inner demons.
"At the heart of the plot is the question of identity and freedom, or what happens when a man, in an attempt to be just in a world that is no longer just, begins to lose touch with reality? Visually powerful and psychologically tense, 'The Thief from the Roof' brings a contemporary portrayal of a man trying to find meaning in a world full of contradictions, while at the same time questioning the boundaries between courage and illusion," the announcement states.
The long-awaited sequel to one of the most beloved film sagas, "Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale", also from this year, is on the repertoire the next day.
“In this new chapter of the story of the aristocratic Crawley family, the emphasis is on forgiveness, change and the time that inevitably brings the end of an era. The cast includes main characters from the original series and previous films, including, among others: Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern i Jim Carter. "The lavish set design and recognizable cast give this film a character worthy of the final chapter of one of the most famous contemporary film sagas," the statement reads.
