Mirko Kovač Days, the second edition of Focalizator's event, will be organized from December 6th to 9th in Podgorica, Nikšić and Cetinje.
More than 20 participants from Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia will perform at the Book Caffe in Podgorica, the Kultivator in Nikšić and the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital, Fokalizator announced.
The event begins on Saturday, December 6th at 18 p.m., at Book Caffe, with the program "Prolegomena: Danilo Kiš's Practice Book, from the Rose Tree", during which the new edition of Božo Koprivica's book will be presented. The conversation with Koprivica will be moderated by Sanja Vojinović, and excerpts from the book will be read by CNP actor Zoran Vujović.
At 19 pm, as part of the program "Railway Station Petrovići", a video recording of Radmila Vojvodić from Kovač's birthplace will be broadcast, and at 19:30 pm, Janko Ljumović, Aleksandar Radunović and Ana Vukotić will speak on the topic "Psychological Pausing: Dramas, Scenarios", moderated by Dragana Erjavšek.
The first day of the event will be closed by the program "A Stressed Life, Friends of Mirko", which starts at 20:30 PM, and will feature Vlaho Bogišić, Božo Koprivica and moderator Vanja Kovačević.
The second day of the event, on Sunday, December 7, will also begin at 18 p.m. at Book Caffe, with the program “Melancholy of Sovereignty, About the Homeland of a Writer.” The program will feature Branimir Jukić, Ivana Kovač Baret, Ana Radović Kapor and moderator Jelena Nelević, and the book “Diplomacy for Independence” by Ana Radović Kapor will be presented.
At 19 p.m., the program "The Defiler of Myths, Before the Scientific Court" will be held, featuring Tatjana Ćalasan, Sanja Vojinović, Melida Travančić and moderator Andrija Radović, who will discuss the scientific reception of Kovac's work and present two new Focalizator publications - the book of criticism "In the Other Face" by Melida Travančić and the study "Kovač, Tradition" by Sanja Vojinović.
The program "Feral Microcosm, Postcards from Rovinj" is scheduled for 20 p.m. that same evening, featuring Vlaho Bogišić, Katarina Luketić, Saša Ćirić and moderator Jelena Nelević.
The final program of the Podgorica segment of the event "Postmodern: It's Not Me, It's the Narrative Me" starts at 21 pm at Book Caffe, with participation from Svetislav Basara, Božo Koprivica, Dušan Šarotar, Vladimir Vojinović and moderator Dragana Erjavšek.
The event will move to Nikšić on Monday, December 8. Koprivica's book “Danilo Kiš Practice Book” will be promoted at the Kultivator club at 18 pm.
Koprivica and the editor of that edition, Sanja Vojinović, will promote the book on Tuesday evening, December 9, at 18 p.m., at the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital. The event is organized by the publishing house Fokalizator, with the support of the Kultivator club from Nikšić and the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital of Cetinje.
The event is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and Media.
