Exhibition of drawings "Nothing Twice" by the author Growth Radulović will be opened in Podgorica, tonight at 19 pm, at the Cultural Events Center "Ribnica".
This is the second solo exhibition of the young artist from Podgorica, who this time will present himself with a series of drawings inspired by poetry. Vislave Šimborska, the Polish Nobel Prize laureate for literature. The exhibition is organized with the support of the informal artists' association Kulturna Baza Kunst, of which Radulović is a member.
Radulović was publicly recognized as the first registered student with autism in Montenegro, and after attending the practical part of the classes at the Faculty of Design and Multimedia of the University of Donja Gorica, he actively continued to engage in illustration and painting.
"His artistic expression is characterized by a free line that builds its own flow, boldly combined colors, and an original perspective, stemming from a strongly developed inner world, shaped independently of externally imposed rules," the statement announced.
Radulović's drawings and paintings are part of numerous private collections in Montenegro and Europe.
As the winner of the Miloš Karadaglić Foundation scholarship for 2023/24, which is awarded to gifted individuals who have a developmental challenge or belong to vulnerable categories of society, in April 2024 he had his first solo exhibition "Line of the Road: East, South and into Space", at Kuslev's House in Podgorica.
He has also participated in several collective exhibitions such as: Reaction (2024), Legacy of Resistance (2023), I'm Telling You a Story (2022), Portfolio of Nonviolence (2022), European Inspirations - The Negotiation Process Through the Eyes of Artists (2021), Podgorica Art Festival (2020 and 2019). He has also illustrated the collections of poems "On the Milky Road Together" (2023) and "A Piece Without a Protagonist" (2020).
