The January repertoire of the Montenegrin National Theatre (CNP) will be opened by the guest performance of the Marin Držić Theatre from Dubrovnik, with the play "Waiting for My Father", based on a new play. Mira Raven, directed by Paola TišljarićThe play will be performed tomorrow, January 15th, on the CNP's Main Stage, at 20 p.m.
After performing at the National Theater in Podgorica, the ensemble will perform the play at the Royal Theater "Zetski dom" in Cetinje, on January 16th at 20 p.m.
"Gavran's new play is about waiting for old or new family members, about departures and returns, about perseverance and stubbornness, about pettiness and bigotry, about abandonment and abandonment, about women and men, about marital and friendly relationships. Apart from waiting and anticipation, the play perhaps speaks most of all about expectations from those closest to us," the theatre scholar wrote. Lucija Ljubic.
The play features: Areta Curkovic, Branimir Vidic Flika, Nika Matusic, Nikola Rados, Boris Matic, Bojan Beribaka, Srdjana Simunovic i Ines Trickovic.
In addition to writer Gavran and director Tišljarić, the play's author team also includes: set designer Irena Kraljic, costume designer Ana Mikulić, The lighting was handled by director Tišljarić and Antonio Ljubojevic, the author of musical arrangements and master of sound is Žarko Dragojević, video projection created by Miran Brautović, and the audio recording of the drum Ivica Gluncic.
The play was created in co-production with the Sisak City Theatre Cultural Center, based on the idea of the Czech writer Mihala Vivega, CNP reminds.
