Koprivica assessed that "Chronicle of the Village of Lisičino" appears as a complete novel and stated that it is one of the most notable achievements in the genre of rural stories in Montenegro in the last decade.

The first book promotion was held earlier in Nikšić, organized by the National Library "Njegoš". At the end of last night's evening, the author briefly addressed the audience and announced the continuation of promotions in other cities, with a symbolic distribution of copies of the book to those present.

Matijašević was born in Nikšić in 1966. He graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy in Podgorica, where he also received his master's degree in the Department of Foundry, and is employed at the Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy in Nikšić.
