The play "The People's Representative", a co-production project of the Nikšić Theater and the Pljevlja Cultural Center, will be performed today on the stage of the Nikšić Theater, at 20 p.m.
The play is, according to the text Branislav Nušić, adapted and directed Goran Bulajic, set design, poster design and photography were done by Anka Gardasevic, and costumes Olivera Eraković.
The cast includes: Stevan Vukovic, Marija Djuric, Masa Bozovic, Nikola Vasiljevic, Anja Drljevic, Matija Memedovic, Boban Cvorovic, Milica Kekic, Pavle Bogojevic, Jovan Krivokapic, Velizar Kasalica i Nebojsa Vulanovic.
"The play premiered on September 28, 2022, and the fact that it has been in the repertoire of the Nikšić Theater for the fifth year and that it has made a large number of guest appearances in Montenegro and the region speaks of its lasting artistic value, strong connection with the audience, as well as the topicality of the topics it addresses," the statement emphasizes.
For the role of Jevrem Prokić, Nikšić Theatre actor Stevan Vuković received the Best Actor Award at the 28th Festival of Small Stages and Monodrama in East Sarajevo and the Award for Acting Achievement of the Evening at the 40th Festival “Nušićevi dani” in Smederevo.
After playing in Nikšić, “Narodni poslanik” will be a guest at the “Jevto Dedijer” Cultural Center in Bileća on February 11th, and the following day at the Žabljak Cultural Center.
