In anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the festival, the Public Institution "Grad Teatar" concluded a Cooperation Agreement with the International Festival "KotorArt", also in the year of its 25th anniversary edition.
"The long-standing cooperation of significant cultural institutions has been formalized this time, and the document, which enables the exchange of programs at both festivals, provides guidelines for joint action in the future with the aim of linking cultural institutions, greater accessibility of content to different audiences, and further integration into the European cultural space. The agreement entered into force on the day of signing, and, already during the upcoming summer, the audience of the 'City of Theatre' and 'KotorArt' festivals will have the privilege of following the first guest appearances of the premiere festival programs," the City of Theatre announced.
At the same time, the Public Institution "Grad Teatar" and "KotorArt", as it is emphasized, are signing the agreement with the desire to launch an initiative for networking all summer festivals in the Mediterranean region of Montenegro, so that this model of cultural activity can also enable the improvement of cultural life, the diversification of programs and program policies, as well as raising awareness of the importance of cultural activity in the wider community.
