The exhibition Oneiric Landscapes will open at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro on Tuesday, March 24th at 19 p.m., in the MSUCG Gallery. The exhibition curator is Marina Celebic.

The exhibition brings together works by younger generation artists: Lidija Martinović, Stefan Bošković, Dušan Đukić i Mark Dumnić, whose joint artistic dialogue resulted in a project that explores the motif of the oneiric, or dreamlike, landscape.

The exhibition includes works realized in various media and techniques, including oil and acrylic on canvas, watercolor, pastel, drawing, as well as sculptures in ceramics, metal, stone and wood. Although they use a variety of materials, the authors are connected by a close artistic and poetic sensibility that is expressed through painting, drawing and sculpture.

The works explore the relationship between figurative and abstract forms, with motifs often connected to emotional and intuitive experiences. The visual spaces the authors construct suggest landscapes that lie between reality and imagination.

With the exhibition Dreamy Landscapes, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro continues the practice of supporting and affirming artists of the younger generation.
