The symphonic fairy tale for children and adults "Peća i Wolf" by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev will be performed today and tomorrow in Tivat and Podgorica, the Music Center of Montenegro announced.
The work for the audience's first encounters with artistic-classical music will be performed twice today at the Cultural Center in Tivat, at 11 am and 13 pm, and in Podgorica tomorrow, in the Great Hall of the Music Center of Montenegro at 11 am.
"The humorous story of the brave boy Peća who, with the help of animals, managed to catch an evil wolf, outlines a positive attitude towards nature, the environment, building friendships and a sense of help when it is needed most. Each character in the story has their own theme in a certain key, which is conveyed by a special instrument: Peća with string instruments, the bird with a flute, the cat with a clarinet, the duck with an oboe, the grandfather with a bassoon, the hunters with timpani, and the wolf with horns," the announcement states.
