The third day of the 20th International Podgorica Book and Education Fair offered a program for all tastes - from the children's play "The Cricket and the Ant" by the JPU "Ljubica Popović", to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth Borisav Stanković and the promotion of Nikšić as the European Capital of Culture to the play “Guide to the Serbian Mentality” directed by Vjere Mujović which entertained the large audience. Such a diverse program attracted great interest from visitors.

Romanian writer and publisher presents himself in Podgorica for the first time Bogdan Hrib.

"The fair is an indication that books can build bridges and I think this is one of the most important bridges we can build. It's a difficult time for the reading public, which we can see in Romania and Montenegro as well. Genre fiction could be an easier bridge to build for average people who can't reach for high-quality literature, but can read dark or beautiful, love stories," said Hrib.

A young author spoke about her book "I'm leaving, so see you later" Sara Đurović.

"I've always wanted to write prose, but I decided to write a novel at a time when I was working a job that I didn't enjoy. As those days at work went by, I created a system where I gave myself a framework and wrote chapters periodically, and the novel slowly took shape. The process of writing the novel itself lasted four months. When I write a screenplay, it requires a certain amount of systematicity, and I think a novel allows for freedom that a screenplay doesn't. In a screenplay, the form can dictate the content, while in a novel, the content mostly dictates the plot," Đurović said.

Poet and literary critic Milutin Mićović he spoke about the translation of Luce Mikrokozma into Romanian that she did Dr. Ljubica Rajkic, U.E. Viorel to Ardelean The Romanian Ambassador to Montenegro spoke about the Tourist Guide to Romania, author Andrija Radulović presented his "Poetic Worlds", and about the book "At the Gates of Constantinople" by the author Slavenka Terzića he spoke Budimir Aleksic. Author Stephen Headley he spoke about Audience Development and Cultural Policy.

Great interest was attracted by the meeting with the author Daniel Zoranić, Dizgram.

"In this age of digital media, books mean even more. At the fair, I see that people are still trying to keep the world of books alive. I am most inspired when someone tells me that one sentence can make their day. I have a new book coming out in June and it will be something completely different from me," Dizgram said.

A significant number of visitors were also attracted by the guest appearance of the writer Zorica Tomic.

"I have to thank the organizers of the fair and I have to say that I am enchanted to be here for the first time. I cannot believe that all of this was practically done privately. This is a truly great step forward and I hope that your cultural authorities will recognize this effort and everything that was needed for this event to enter its 20th anniversary year. On the other hand, I am returning to my roots because I am Montenegrin through my mother, so the pleasure of coming to Podgorica is even greater," said Tomić.

As part of the program of the third day of the jubilee 20th International Podgorica Book Fair, the "Podgorica Trilogy" by the writer, poet and journalist was promoted. Balša Brković.
