"Death in Dubrovnik" at the CNP Showcase

The play "Death in Dubrovnik", directed by Petar Pejaković, produced by the Drama Studio Prazan prostor, in collaboration with the Human Rights Action, will be performed today at the CNP Studio Stage at 14 pm, as part of the Montenegrin Theatre Showcase, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Media. English subtitles are provided.

Played by: Slavisa Grubisa, Emir Catovic, Pavle Prelevic, Milos Kascelan, Kristijan Blecic i Masa Bozovic.

She is a playwright Anja Pletikosa, author of music Ilija Gajević, costume designer Lina Lekovic, and set designer Ivanka Vana Prelevic.

The text of the play is based on over thirty testimonies collected by the Human Rights Action and Prazan prostor. The play was realized within the project "Siege of Dubrovnik 1991-1992: Memories of the War so that evil is not repeated", which is supported by the European Union through the regional project EU Support for Confidence Building in the Western Balkans, and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The play "Death in Dubrovnik", theatrical masterpiece, as described by the jury of the 35th Croatian Drama Festival Marulić's Days in Split, won the award for best overall play.

Choreodrama "How Much to the End" tomorrow at Showcase

Choreographic drama "How Much to the End", author Julije Milačić Petrović-Njegoš and co-authors Tamara Vujošević-Mandić, will be performed tomorrow on the CNP Studio Stage at 12 noon.

The play was co-produced by the National Theatre and the Ballo Ballet Company, with the support of the Miloš Karadaglić Foundation, and is performed as part of the Montenegrin Theatre Showcase, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Media.

Young actors and actresses play: Anja Misovic, Milos Kascelan, Nevena Penava, Luka Stankovic, Kristina Mrkic and a high school ballerina Staša Radenović.

The play explores the psychological and emotional consequences of family breakdown on young generations, depicting their individual struggles and collective sense of alienation, and the need to reconnect with themselves and others.
