Bijelo Polje: Literary competition evening held at the "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" Cultural Center

Literary competition evening held at the "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" Cultural CenterThe literary competition evening of the fifth season of the largest literary competition for children and young literary talents from Bijelo Polje, organized by the International Cultural Association IKA, was held on May 11, 2026 at the "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" Cultural Center.

Thirty young literary talents from Bijelo Polje presented their original poetry and short stories in the packed hall of the Cultural Center. First place in the original poetry category for ages 14 to 18 went to Jovana Bogavac, second place to Blanka Čukić, while third place went to Klara Fatić.

In the category of author's poetry for ages 10 to 13, first place went to Isidora Pešić, second place to Matej Marinković, and third place to Milena Nišavić.

In the short story category, first place was won by Staša Konatar, second place by Rade Kuč, while third place was shared by Asja Dervović and Nađa Mrdak.

In the category of best interpreter of original poetry, first place went to Klara Fatić.

The first places will be represented by Bijelo Polje in the final evenings by category, which will feature the best from 25 Montenegrin municipalities.

The literary competition evening was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje. The awards were presented to the best by the president of the International Cultural Association IKA, writer Veljko Veljović.
