Solo concert by a pianist Ive Pavlovic from Bar, a student at the Music Academy in Zagreb, will be held today, at 19 pm, as part of the "Young Talents" cycle, in the large hall of the KIC "Budo Tomović".
There are works on the program Johann Sebastian Bach (Italian Concerto in F major), Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata no. 23 in F minor, op. 57 Appassionata), Maurice Ravel (Pavane for the deceased Infanta) and Frederic Chopin (Balada op. 23 u g-molu).
Iva Pavlović was born in 2002 in Bar, where she began her musical education in the class of prof. Jelena Dobrković. She graduated from the “Andre Navara” Secondary Music School in Podgorica, parallel to the gymnasium in Bar. During her education, she won numerous awards at national and international competitions. She held her first solo concert as part of the 36th edition of the “Barski ljetopis” festival, and presented herself to the audience at the Music Center of Montenegro with a concert organized as part of the “Matinée” cycle in 2024. In March 2026, she performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Zagreb, performing Schumann’s concerto for piano and orchestra. She often performs as a soloist and as a member of various chamber ensembles, and she also participated in festivals such as “Zagrebačko glazbeno proljeće”, the piano duo festival “Quattromania” in Osijek, the “Vinko Lesić” cycle of young musicians in Split, the contemporary piano music festival “Forte piano” in Podgorica, etc. In a piano duo with her colleague Martom Bešlić She played in the Small Hall “Vatroslav Lisinski” in Zagreb as part of the “Youth for Youth” cycle. She studied at seminars with prominent pianists and pedagogues such as Natalija Trul, Siprijen Kacaris, Boris Kraljević, Giuliano Mazocante, Bojan Martinović, Giuseppe Devastato i Kemal GekicShe is currently a fifth-year piano student at the Zagreb Academy of Music in the class of prof. Dalibor Cikojević.
