Expression and artistic trends that have marked the past two decades

On the occasion of the twenty years since the restoration of Montenegro's independence, the Public Institution Museums and Galleries of Budva is organizing the exhibition "On the Trails of Creativity: Contemporary Montenegrin Art 2006-2026". The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held today at 20 pm at the Modern Gallery "Jovo Ivanović", the press release announced.

The exhibition brings a representative overview of the contemporary Montenegrin art scene created in the period after 2006, through a selection of works from the collections of the Modern Gallery “Jovo Ivanović” and the Gallery “Marko Krstov Gregović”.

"Bringing together authors of different generations and artistic sensibilities, the exhibition provides insight into the development of contemporary Montenegrin artistic expression and the artistic trends that have marked the past two decades," the opening announcement states.
