On the occasion of the Day of Arts, an event called "Mozart on Gorica" was held in the Mediterranean Garden in Gorica, organized by the international organization Nova Akropola, Podgorica branch, which brought together around 150 visitors interested in music, art and their influence on humans.
The program began with a lecture entitled "The Influence of Music on Man", during which the influence of music on human development, his emotions, ability to concentrate and inner harmony was discussed.
"The lecture recalled the ancient understanding of art as a means of character education and development of human potential, as well as contemporary research that confirms the importance of music for human psychophysical well-being," the Nova Akropolis press release states.
The lecture was followed by a performance by the duo "Amuletic Strings", who performed selected works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on violin and cello.
"In the pleasant ambiance of the Mediterranean Garden, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy interpretations that evoked the beauty, serenity and harmony of one of the greatest composers in the history of music. A large number of citizens present showed that there is interest in content that connects culture, education and art, as well as the need for events that contribute to a better quality of cultural life in the city," the statement said.
New Acropolis is an international organization present in more than 60 countries around the world, they explain, which promotes philosophy as a way of life based on practical knowledge, ethics and personal development. It operates through three key areas: philosophy, culture and volunteerism, organizing courses, lectures, seminars, cultural programs and socially beneficial actions.
The New Acropolis in Podgorica has been actively operating since 2010, with the aim of reviving classical philosophical values and encouraging the development of individuals and communities.
