Independent exhibition of paintings Sail Kerović, entitled "Whispers of Solitude", will be opened today in Podgorica, at the Art Pavilion of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro. The exhibition will be opened tonight at 20 pm by art historian Ljiljana Zekovic.

The event is organized by the Public Institution Center for the Preservation and Development of Minority Culture of Montenegro, with an invitation to the public to visit the exhibition.

"Welcome to discover 'Whispers of Solitude' together," they say.

Sejla Kerović was born in Ivangrad, today's Berane, in 1973. She spent her earliest childhood in Plav, and when she was five years old, her family moved to Podgorica.

"She grew up in an artistic family, with her father Husein Basic, writer, and mother Emin, "A professor of literature. Intellectuals of various backgrounds would visit their house every day, and all of this influenced Sejla, as she grew up, to become interested in various forms of art, which resulted in her involvement in several fields and winning awards at the state level," her biography states.

She has had several solo exhibitions so far.
