It's special when you share music with someone you breathe the same rhythm with.

Last night, one of the most distinguished chamber duos of today performed in front of the KotorArt festival audience at the Church of the Holy Spirit - violinist Kiril Trusov and a pianist Aleksandra TrusovaIn addition to their exceptional international careers, these artists are also connected by an unbreakable family and musical bond.

As brother and sister, Kiril and Aleksandra have developed a unique artistic partnership, confirmed by numerous award-winning recordings and performances in the most prestigious concert halls around the world.

"Performing every year all over the world with Kirill is a real gift for me. Since childhood, we have been so musically connected that it can sometimes be very intense. Through concerts, we go through different moods that we can only show with a person with whom we empathize and with whom we breathe the same air. We love it when the audience joins us and breathes in the same rhythm as us. That is truly special," said Aleksandra Trusova.

The Trusov duo presented their exceptional technical skills on the violin and piano through the concert program "Creative Symbiosis", which included masterpieces of violin literature from different stylistic eras.

"We always try to bring a repertoire that is not only made up of classical sonatas, but to mix the classical repertoire with romantic and virtuoso works for violin. It is interesting for the audience to see the mastery of virtuoso violinists. Tonight we played Betovenovu Sonata for violin and piano in F major, better known as the 'Spring Sonata', then Brahms Sonata No. 3 for violin and piano in D minor, while at the end we performed two virtuoso compositions Henrik Wijenjavski"We had a concept behind it all," explained Kiril Trusov.

The audience at the Church of the Holy Spirit greeted their performance with long and thunderous applause, and in response to the enthusiasm, the Trusov duo performed Monti's "Čardas" for an encore.

For Kiril Trusov, who has performed in numerous world music centers, the concert in Kotor was the first meeting with the KotorArt festival audience.

"The city itself, the nature and the surroundings are so special. I've seen many locations around the world and I just got back from Korea a few days ago, but the beauty of this city is really special to me. The atmosphere in this concert hall was great. Not only can you hear everything perfectly, but the atmosphere with the audience was very beautiful and intimate. It was really fun to play at such a great festival," said Kiril.

Aleksandra Trusova revealed that she had visited Kotor a year earlier, as a tourist, and that she had already wanted to perform in the city.

"When I was in Kotor last year with my wife, I thought how nice it would be to play here. When my brother told me we were going to play in Kotor, I was delighted and very happy to be back. The concert was great, the exchange with the audience was very emotional, warm and energetic. I am very happy," said Aleksandra.

The performance of Kirill and Alexandra Trusov once again confirmed the strength of their artistic partnership - a combination of superb virtuosity, family closeness, and musicality that strongly communicates with the audience.
