As part of this year's Mediterranean Theater Festival "Purgatory", on Monday, July 20, the audience will be able to watch the award-winning play "Contra Mundum", produced by the Tivat Cultural Center, in the Great Hall of the Tivat Cultural Center, starting at 9:30 PM.
Inspired by the autobiography "The Secret Life" Salvador Dali, the play, through a strong and visually striking theatrical expression, questions the relationship between artists and society, the limits of creative freedom, and the individual's need to remain authentic in a world of conformity.
Through a combination of dramatic, musical and performative expression, "Contra Mundum" opens a space for contemporary reflection on art, identity and rebellion, offering the audience an extraordinary stage experience.
Concept and direction by Veljko Mićunović, dramaturgy Slobodan Obradović, scenography Sven i Ivana Jonka, costume design Marija Marković Milojev, while the author of the music Neven Glušica.
In the play he plays Ozren Grabaric, with musicians: Aljoša Zakić, Đorđe Kujundžić, Kosta Vukašinović, Anja Riđešić, Marko Ćurčić i Nemanja Tasić.
"Contra Mundum" has so far participated in six festivals in the region of the former Yugoslavia, where it won as many as 16 awards.
