The long-time managers of the Post are hiding behind the management, concealing the facts about the real situation in that state-owned company, said member of the board of directors Stojan Sjekloća (Demos).
"They have a problem with the facts, not with the member of the Board of Directors from Demos", said Sjekloća, responding to the management's statements that the auditor's reserved opinion does not affect the truthfulness and objectivity of the business.
According to him, the veracity and objectivity of the Post's operations are denied by the data of the Telecommunications Agency, against which the Post's management has been conducting unsuccessful court cases for years.
"Essentially, the Agency refuses to pay close to eight million euros of inflated costs," Sjekloća pointed out.
Irregularities in the invoices that the Post Office sends to the Agency, as he notes, are also pointed out by engaged independent auditors.
"They state in the reports, among other things, non-compliance with the accounting rules defined by the Law on Postal Services and the Rulebook, that costs are not allocated in a way that allows for an overview of income and expenditure for each postal service. The shown differences between income and expenditure are unusually high for certain types of services", said Sjekloća.
The management of the Post Office, he adds, with such management of accounting "achieves a Guinness record, by calculating the cost of three 10 kg packages in international traffic of 308.952 euros, i.e. 102.984 euros per package, and they tried to collect the same from the Agency".
"Better aviation experts say the jumbo jet is cheaper. Weights (keys) for the distribution of indirect costs are not calculated separately for each year. In the calculation of net costs, indirect benefits are not reported. For certain years (2011, 2012, 2013), only information on the cost of commercial services was given," said Sjekloća.
He added that the Bureaucratized and nepotistic management does not respond to the Agency, authorized auditors and others, so they would like to have a member of the board from Demos.
Zatrijebac has had no postman for more than five years
Sjekloća pointed out that the Zatrijebač Community has not had a postman for more than five years.
"Residents are forced to pick up the mail themselves, or one person collects it on behalf of the whole village," said manager Dragica Reš, a prominent member of the DPS, said Sjekloća.
