Vojin Žugić was unanimously elected president of the Board of Directors of Luka Bar at the constitutive session.
It was announced from Luka Bar that Aleksandar Jovović was elected deputy president at the constitutive session of the new convocation of the Board.
At the extraordinary session of the Shareholders' Assembly of the bar company, held on Monday, a new Board of Directors was elected, consisting of Žugić, Vladan Radonjić, Biljana Jakić, Nedžib Ibrišimović and Jovović.
In the previous Board of Directors of Luka Bar, which was elected at the extraordinary session of the Shareholders' Assembly at the end of October, the interests of the state as the majority owner were represented by Rasim Honsić, Vladan Radonjić, Deda Đelović and Žugić, while the minority shareholders were also represented by Jovović.
At the constitutive session of that Board at the beginning of November, Žugić was unanimously elected president of the company's Board, and Đelović was elected as his deputy.
Only a few days after the election of that Board, the Government explained that its members would be dismissed and a new Board elected at the Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting, because Honsić does not have a university degree, which is a requirement stipulated in the company's statute.
The newly elected Board of Directors should make a decision on the election of the executive director of the bar company in the following period.
Željko Ivanović, Vladan Vučelić, Dragan Nikezić and Zarija Franović applied for the public competition for the election of the executive director.
The position of executive director of Luka Bar was covered by Franović until October, who was dismissed by the Board of Directors headed by Anđelko Lojpur.
That Board of Directors was left without a mandate when Branislav Branković resigned from membership in mid-September.
