The municipality of Ulcinj is approaching a dramatic situation, because it is still uncertain whether the proposal for the Decision on the budget for the next year will be considered.
According to Mayor Fatmir Đeka, that proposal was submitted by the executive power to the parliamentary service 12 days ago, the Ul-info portal reports.
The material has not yet been distributed to councilors, and a session of the Assembly has not been scheduled at which, if the budget will not be adopted, at least a decision on temporary financing would be adopted.
"This situation has not been recorded in the history of parliamentarism," said the head of the Committee Club of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Skender Elezagić.
He added that the Municipality of Ulcinj is getting dangerously close to a situation where all payments from its account will be suspended from December 31.
