The luxurious Torch beach club - Day & Night complex, built on sea foam just a few meters from Budva's Slovenska beach, worth one million euros, is owned by Marko Gvozdenović, the son of the minister of sustainable development and tourism, Branimir Gvozdenović, according to the Budva opposition.
This was announced by representatives of the Budva opposition last night, while the Declaration on the Protection of Miločerski Park was being discussed on the agenda of the parliamentary session.
The permit for the construction of a temporary assembly facility was issued by the company Morsko dobro to the Budva company Torch platforms Montenegro, which was founded by the company Torch platforms limited based in London.
Democratic Front Budva councilor Stevan Džaković asserted that the younger Gvozdenović is the owner of this club.
"That comrade Gvozdenović dares to protect our space, and he concreted Slovakia's beach. We are all stupid here, and his son is smart, so he came to Budva to make money, and after the season he goes to London to study, and it is known that a month of living there costs 20 thousand pounds", said Džaković and added that the younger Gvozdenović "also held Galija beach next to St. Stefan".
Democratic councilor Mijomir Pejović also spoke about the swimming pools at Slovenska plaža and Gvozdenović, stating that Gvozdenović cannot be trusted when it comes to not concrete Miločerski park, just as he cannot be trusted that "his son has nothing to do with the pool on Slovenska beach".
"We can't trust him, when we see what he did next to Villa Manojlović and what he made possible for his son," said Pejović.
DF councilor Božidar Vujičić also called out Gvozdenović because literally a few meters from the shore concrete was being poured all winter. "Construction machines were working there, concreting was being done, and supposedly it was a prefabricated building," said Vujičić.
The complex was opened in mid-June and presented with a British investment of over one million euros.
