The price of Eurodiesel will be four cents higher from midnight, after almost three months of inactivity, so in the next 15 days it will amount to 1,3 euros per liter.
The price of heating oil for wholesale deliveries will also increase, also by four cents to 1,27 euros.
The prices of other types of fuel, as announced by the Ministry of Economy, will not change for the next 15 days.
"The new maximum allowed price of diesel, which according to the currently available data, despite the price increase, is among the lowest in the region, will be at the level of the price from June this year, which is 8 cents lower than the historical maximum," said the Ministry.
A liter of Eurosuper 95 will still cost 1,38 euros, and the price of Eurosuper 98 will be 1,41 euros.
The change in the price of oil derivatives in Montenegro is exclusively influenced by the growth in the value of oil derivatives on the world stock market, as well as the change in the value of the dollar in relation to the euro.
"This has as a consequence the extreme instability of the international oil derivatives market, which has a dominant effect on the change in fuel prices in Montenegro and the entire region. The government, as before, analyzes price movements on the international market, as evidenced by the confirmed assessment from June of this year according to which foresees the normalization of prices, as well as the stable trend of the dollar/euro exchange rate, which lasted until the middle of this month," the Ministry announced.
Will publish comparison pods regularly
As they add, on Friday (September 21.9.2018, XNUMX), after collecting official comparative data, the Ministry will begin the practice of regular weekly publication of comparative fuel prices in the environment, as one of the most important parameters for the eventual activation of anti-inflationary measures.
According to the provisions of the Regulation on the method of determining the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, the next calculation will be made on October 1, 2018, and any changed values of petroleum products will be valid from October 2, 2018.
