Representatives of several non-governmental organizations that gather real estate owners in Montenegro met with the ambassador of the European Union (EU) in Montenegro, Mitja Drobnič, and the head of the political sector of the delagaija, Albert Kamarat, where they pointed out to them the bad practice of domestic institutions, which systemically and fundamentally threatens the right of private properties in the state.

The EU delegation was presented with the Declaration on the importance of property rights, acquired rights, free market, fair trial and resistance to legal violence.

As announced by the Facebook group "Naše ognjište", representatives of the citizens emphasized the complete unity of the citizens, the importance and the need for the adoption of the Declaration on the Protection of Private Property.

"Concern about the possible radicalization of the event and the widespread dissatisfaction of citizens due to such behavior of the state and the violation of basic legal-economic democratic and European principles, as well as the disregard of the principles of environmental protection and transparency of procedures in those procedures, were emphasized," the statement said.

As it was added, concern was expressed because this bad practice has intensified recently in the last few years, when the responsibility of our country towards the EU should be more mature and strengthened, and the process of "transition" is over.

"Instead, the state behaves as if it is preparing to enter a completely opposite type of organization, closer to the "international" and not the EU, especially when it comes to providing and securing a fair trial, property-legal, economic and fiscal guarantees, environmental protection and transparency of procedures," the announcement states.
