The Deputy State Prosecutor in Bar, Radovan Đurišić, after several years of investigation, dismissed the criminal complaint filed by former employees of Tehnopromet in Bar against Žarko Pavićević, the former mayor of Bar and the owner of the construction institute of that city, which is in bankruptcy.
The reports against Dragan Kovačević, the current head of the Real Estate Administration and former director of the Real Estate Administration in Bar, Slavoljub Glišić, the former director of Tehnopromet and several other persons, who are suspected of abuse of official position, were dismissed.
Đurišić established that the suspected persons neither committed any criminal offense nor acted beyond their authority, although former workers accused them of stealing their property in which they never received an ownership stake.
Former employees of Tehnopromet, one of them, Đona Janković, confirmed to "Vijesta", they informed Albert Kamarata, high representative of the EU Delegation in Podgorica, about everything, stating that they "proved several times and we will prove that this case is high-level corruption".
Former employees of Tehnopromet asked the Commercial Court to annul the cooperation agreement from 2002, based on which Pavićević's ZIB took over property from Tehnopromet for 148.500 euros, which they claim is worth millions, and then sold it to third parties.
