The owner of the company Uniprom, Veselin Pejović, said last night on the TV show "Okvir" that his company has 15 million to pay a part of the purchase price of 28 million euros for the assets of the bankrupt aluminum plant, "the other part of the money will be provided from a loan, and the third part will be provided by its partners ".
According to the offer, Uniprom will pay 15 million immediately, and 13 million later in agreement with KAP's creditors. He also announced investments of 76 million. The bankruptcy administrator accepted the offer, and the confirmation of the bankruptcy judge, as well as the decision of the Assembly, is awaited.
Pejović announced the start of aluminum processing, and that his partners in this business will be the Turkish company Asaš, Inpeks metal from Poland and Stemi from Italy, which is engaged in the production of radiators. He stated that the same production of radiators could be organized in part of the territory of KAP and expressed the expectation that in the future the Italian Fiat, which is developing the automotive industry in Serbia, would open one of its plants in Podgorica.
"Salaries and contributions to KAP workers will be paid regularly," Pejović promised, noting that "only with metal processing can KAP be profitable."
He announced that he will analyze every workplace in KAP and that he will initially need at least 300 out of about 720 workers for primary metal production if he receives the requested price of electricity from EPCG and CGES of a maximum of 38 euros per megawatt.
"With the expansion of production, we will increase the number of workers," said Pejović.
