The owner of Uniprom, Veselin Pejović, responded to the question of the Deputy President of the Assembly and MP of the Democratic Front, Branko Radulović, where did someone who sold salad and was a conductor get 30 million, whose offer for KAP was judged by the bankruptcy administrator to be the most serious.
"It is true that in the summer at the age of 17 I worked as a conductor, and before that (as a boy) stole chocolate bars in a supermarket. In 2001, after KAP, I was the first Montenegrin exporter, but not of fruits and vegetables, but of metals, and three years in a row," said Veselin Pejović to "Viješta" in reaction to the claims of deputy Radulović.
He said that as a businessman he was awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and that the award was presented to him by the then president Vladimir Vukmirović.
"However, the scum from PzP have not yet published evidence for the lies that I represent a drug cartel and launder drug money. This is their obligation to the citizens, or to stop lying. "The purchase of KAP at this moment is a secondary matter for me, and the obligation to wash away the stain from my family and company will be my obligation and priority for the rest of my life," concluded Pejović.
Pejović had previously called on the PzP to choose an audit firm to investigate the way he acquired the money. When asked if he would do so, Radulović replied that he had never mentioned or met Pejović.
"I didn't even meet him at scientific meetings. According to some of my knowledge, he was involved in the sale and resale of lettuce. And then I wonder if the man who was engaged in the sale of lettuce and was a conductor, as I was told, also has a small foundry , can deal with the overall development of the aluminum industry or is it something else," announced Radulović.
He said that this man and "his street behavior shows what kind of mentality he has".
“Find on YouTube how a man opens a ramp so you will see from that move whether he can command and unite all Montenegrin intelligence and command the aluminum industry. You will see that mindset. I just laughed and said - Our mother cried," said Radulović.
He said that every flow of money must be controlled, and that the parliamentary bodies will do it if this transaction is concluded.
"If someone earns 30 million euros from salad or something else, is it normal to control it? The parliamentary committees for economy and security will deal with this and initiate hearings," Radulović pointed out.
