Today, Perišić announces the decision to sell KAP assets

If the bankruptcy trustee decides to announce an additional invitation to investors, there is a high probability that the price of 28,5 million euros offered by Uniprom from Nikšić will then be the starting price.

The bankruptcy administrator of Kombinat aluminijuma Veselin Perišić should announce today the decision on the offers received in the tender for the purchase of KAP assets, and according to unofficial information "Vijesti" the most likely option is to renew the advertisement with an additional period of 30 days for submitting and improving the existing offers.

The board of creditors sat late last night in KAP, which was attended by the representative of the state, that is, the Ministry of Finance, Mirjana Milić, the representative of Elektroprivreda Miodrag Bulatović and the Russian companies En plus Group, CEAC and VTB bank Nemanja Ilić.

The details of this multi-hour meeting, which lasted until late at night, are not known, and manager Perišić, as he announced earlier, will make the final decision after today's meeting with bankruptcy judge Dragan Rakočević.

According to unofficial information, the main creditors are not satisfied with the best price offered by the Nikšić company Uniprom of 28,5 million euros.

The representatives of En plus, CEAC and VTB continuously object to the conduct of the bankruptcy proceedings, which is why they previously requested the exemption of the bankruptcy administrator and the bankruptcy judge.

If the bankruptcy trustee decides to publish an additional invitation to investors, it is very likely that the price of EUR 28,5 million for KAP's assets will be the starting price in that renewed advertisement.

The five largest creditors of KAP are the Ministry of Finance, which claims 148,1 million euros, CEAC with around 50 million, Elektroprivreda with around 45 million, En plus Group with 43,4 million and VTB Bank with 25,8 million euros.

The bankruptcy trustee recognized a total of about 360 million euros in claims from the aluminum company. If in the end the property was sold for 28,5 million, only the creditors in the first and second round - the workers and the Tax Administration - could be paid with that money, while everyone else would receive only a small percentage of all claims.

The sale of the assets of KAP, which has been in bankruptcy since July 8 of this year, was announced in the second half of November at an estimated value of 52,47 million euros.

Along with the owner of Uniprom, Veselin Pejović, who wants to buy the property of KAP without the two red mud basins and the cathode waste dump and invest 76 million in the next five years, the offer was also sent by the London company Get Sales LTD, which offered only 5.100 euros to take over the property and 700 million euros of investment.

The third offer was submitted by the Tivat company Politropus Alternative, owned by the Ukrainian Roman Denkovič. He wants red mud pools, the former Institute for Research and Development of Aluminum and land in Spuz for a total of 450 euros. He announced investments of 50 million euros, the employment of 300 workers and the construction of a factory for the processing of waste from two pools.

The fourth offer was sent by Alemani trade from Belgrade, which wants to buy 22 wagons of KAP for 178,2 thousand euros.
