Gvozdenović: Investors interested in investing in Montenegro

The activities and measures implemented by the Government in order to encourage investments and tourism development result in significant interest of investors in investments in Montenegro, announced the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Branimir Gvozdenović at the real estate fair Expo ril. At the fair, which ended on Wednesday in Munich, Gvozdenović said that investors are encouraged by the progress made in Montenegrin tourism in recent years. "They are mostly familiar with the majority of projects that are implemented in our country, as well as with the legal regulations and environment for investments," said Gvozdenović. The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism announced that Montenegro was represented at the fair by the Municipality of Ulcinj as well as several private companies. At the fair, as they stated, potential projects related to the Municipality of Ulcinj were presented, for which spatial planning documentation was adopted in the previous period with the coordination and financial support of the Government of Montenegro. The Ministry added that Gvozdenović met with the assistant the Minister of Economy of Bavaria responsible for the field of tourism, Herman Luka, after which it was assessed that there is a mutual interest in the exchange of experiences, as well as in intensifying the cooperation between Montenegro and Bavaria in the field of tourism. , Rupert Simoner, which is one of the largest hotel companies in the world. "At the meeting, the possibility of bringing the Kempinski brand to Montenegro was considered, given the mutual interest and activities carried out in the previous period," said the Ministry. After Gvozdenović's meeting with the management of the Munich fair, it was concluded that Montenegro has a very significant and active role when it comes to the development of fair tourism in order to extend the season, primarily through the organization of fair events. Gvozdenović also met with representatives of several private companies, which showed interest in investing in resorts on the coast, primarily in the territory of the Municipality of Ulcinj. The Expo ril real estate fair is one of the most prestigious and most visited events of its type in the world. This year, around 40 thousand participants and 1,7 thousand exhibitors from 71 countries were present.
