The latest warning from businessman Zoran - Ćoć Bećirović, who is the director of the company Bepler and Džekobson, to which the elite hotel is registered, confirms that there is a fierce fight over the ownership of the Avala hotel in Budva. Yesterday, through his lawyer, he officially warned all travel agencies that the hotel management misused the company's stamp and that the contracted jobs are disputed.

The war between Bećirović and the hotel's new management, which ended in court in London, has been raging for a year, since Bećirović was literally "kicked out of the hotel" and his former Russian partners took over the management.

From the law office of Branko Čolović, Bećirović's representative, they visited several Budva agencies that are local partners of leading European tour operators, and concluded contracts with hotel management, which is a new episode in the struggle for supremacy over Avalo.

Threatened arrival of tourists

"The representative of lawyer Čolović informed us yesterday that these contracts are disputed, because there was a misuse of the seal. We had those contracts last year with the same hotel management and throughout the summer we brought guests to Avala mainly from the Western European market. This year, too, we "included" Avala in the catalogs for the coming summer of our European partners that we represent.

Bookings have already started from the German and UK markets. The partners are not interested in what is happening in Budva, what kind of dispute is involved, they will consider us responsible and incompetent and we will only suffer the damage. We don't know who to ask for an explanation and possible protection, we intend to inform the Ministry of Tourism", several agencies told "Vijesta", whose representatives did not want their names published precisely so that their partners from abroad would not question their business with Black Goram.

On May 3, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales launched the liquidation of the company Bepler and Jacobson Ltd England - Budva, to which the Montenegrin Real Estate Administration manages a large land complex in the very center of Budva, on which the Avala hotel was built. A company from England, whose director is Roman Kopiltsov, founded Bepler and Jacobson Montenegro in Montenegro, which was the main investor in the reconstruction and construction of new parts of the Avala hotel with villas.

The head of the Montenegrin branch of the London company is still the businessman Zoran Bećirović from Kolasin as the executive director and authorized representative. Bećirović is also the sole owner of Caldero Trading Limited from Cyprus, which is one of the shareholders of Bepler and Jacobson Ltd from London.

Čolović: We are checking the contracts

In his capacity as Bećirović's lawyer, Čolović emphasized in a written letter to "Vijesta" that "agency contracts that have already been signed without the consent of the temporary liquidators and without the executive director will be subject to verification, which does not mean that they will not be valid".

"There is ongoing litigation in the High Court in London, which was initiated by the lawsuit of my client Bećirović to protect his rights in the company Beppler & Jacobson Ltd from London and the company Beppler & Jacobson Montenegro from Budva, in which the London company has a 100 percent founding share. The High Court in London has appointed provisional liquidators, representing Beppler & Jacobson Ltd, as the owner of Beppler & Jacobson Montenegro, pending the conclusion of the litigation.

Mr. Bećirović is the executive director of Beppler & Jacobson Montenegro. There are categories of contracts that, due to their value and/or duration, according to the Statute of the company Beppler & Jacobson Montenegro, require the approval of the temporary liquidators, and my client's position is that larger contracts with passenger operators fall under such a category," emphasized Čolović.

He added that Bećirović, as the executive director, is personally responsible and legally obliged to ensure that all activities and all contracts of Bepler and Jacobson Montenegro, including contracts with travel agencies, are in accordance with the laws of Montenegro.

"For this reason, he is obliged to take all the necessary steps to ensure compliance with Montenegrin laws, and at the same time, Mr. Bećirović will assist the temporary liquidators in carrying out their task to preserve the Avala and Bjanka hotels, as the most important assets of the Beppler & Jacobson company. Ltd", concluded Čolović.

"Vijesti" yesterday asked the management of Avala to answer what will be the fate of the contract with the agencies and who currently manages the hotel, which was not done until the conclusion of this issue.

Bećirović recently accused Igor Lazurenko, the former main partner with whom he bought the Avala hotel and numerous attractive land locations on the coast, of fraud. This was also the reason for the Moscow company TNK-VR, where the controversial Russian was a top manager, to file a criminal complaint for embezzlement of 13 million dollars.
