The dairy "Lazine" of the Danilovgrad company "Montmilk Šimšić" bought the dairy "Zora" from Beran for half a million euros, half of which was allocated for shares, and the other half for the investment program.
This was said by the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Branimir Vujačić, after the Government session, which was preceded by the session of the Privatization Council, where the same decision was made.
The government sold 99,56 percent of its shares at a price of 0,43 cents per share and, according to Vujačić, all claims from "Zora" have been settled, including unpaid wages, connection of seniority and severance pay for workers, obligations to suppliers, creditors and creditors.
"The sale of Zora avoided the introduction of bankruptcy," Vujacic pointed out.
The bidder's investment program and business plan imply that the production of krisha cheese, feta, processed cheese, cream, sour cream and sour milk products will be organized in Berane, that is, those products which until now have not been produced in Montenegro have already been imported.
"The new owner is a serious bidder who achieves a turnover of around seven million a year and a profit of 800.000 euros, from year to year he increases purchases from the area of Bjelopavlić, Podgorica, and also purchases from the area that was the gravitational support of the dairy Zora, Berane, Plav, Andrijevica and Pljevlja" said Vujacic, adding that the agreement will be signed on Monday in Berane
