AD Luka Bar announced that during the just ended Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, at the Business Forum in the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, it was agreed with business partners from Serbia that starting this year grain from Serbia will be exported to third markets via the port of Bar. The meeting was attended by leaders of the Chambers of Commerce of Serbia and Montenegro, AD Luka Bar, Montecarga, Srbijacarga, MK Group and Agrogloba.

"After harmonizing transportation prices, which until now represented an obstacle to this business, it was concluded that a long-term business arrangement of grains from Serbia and Luka Bar is on the horizon. This contracted business with grains is of great importance after a long-term interruption, and we must be extremely satisfied with the effects of our participation at the fair, through conversations and meetings with representatives of the economic and political life in Serbia," said the executive director of the port, Zarija Franović, M.Sc.

AD Luka Bar was at the fair this year within the unique stand of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, together with ten other companies of ours. The Novi Sad Fair, one of the largest in Southeast Europe, gathered more than 1.500 exhibitors from 30 countries this year, and had over 300.000 visitors.
