The case of the sale of property of the Kolašin company Sinjajevina clearly shows how domestic and foreign real estate brokers came into possession of huge state property for little money, Dejan Milovac, deputy director of the Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector, told "Vijesta".
MANS reminds that at the end of the last century, the company Sinjajevina had the epithet of the bearer of agricultural development in Kolašin, and it enabled local livestock farmers to export their products to Greece, Italy, and even to Libya. In addition, this company had numerous buildings and valuable land.
"Nevertheless, in April 2004, the public sale of the assets of this company, which in the meantime entered bankruptcy, was announced. No one responded to the public tender that was organized three times, until the tender that we organized on April 21, 2006 the offshore company Beppler & Partners from the British Virgin Islands, represented by the Budva lawyer Branko Čolović, did not appear," said Milovac.
The largest part of this land, about two million square meters, is located in the cadastral municipality of Lipovo, then another 800.000 square meters in Dragovića polje, while the rest of the land is in the Raška - Mioska and Osredci stretch.
"Beppler, through Čolović, submitted an offer for 120.100 euros, which was accepted as the only offer. Finally, on May 19, 2006, a contract for the purchase and sale of real estate was concluded between the bankrupt company Sinjajevina dd, represented by the bankruptcy trustee Bogdan Bulatović, and the company Beppler & Partners LTD, represented by lawyer Branko Čolović. In Article 2 of this Agreement, it is specified that for 120.100 euros, close to three million square meters of land, mostly forests and pastures, but also close to 1.700 square meters of office buildings and ancillary facilities were sold. The largest part of this land, approx. two million square meters, located in the cadastral municipality of Lipovo, then another 800.000 square meters in Dragovića polje, while the rest of the land is on the Raška - Mioska and Osredci stretch. By simple calculation, we get that Beppler paid an incredible 0,04 euros per square meter of land in Kolasin, that is, four cents per square meter. It is not known which appraisal house set this price, and that was in 2006, when the real estate market was booming," Milovac pointed out.
