The winner of the first international tender for the construction of the luxury residential and business complex "Budva Center" near the town of Sarog in Budva is the author's team of the AGM studio from Serbia, it was announced at a cocktail party in the "Splendid" hotel.
The Montera Montenegro company and the BLOK Conference from Belgrade announced a competition at the beginning of March to which they invited 29 renowned architectural studios from all over the world.
Half a year ago, Montera bought the location where the supermarket is located, the former Vračar, which is only 20 meters from the elite "Avala", below the old Budva settlement of Gospoština.
After the purchase, Russian businessmen, through their company MCG Montenegro registered in Budva, bought for half a million euros 540 square meters of municipal land, which is located in the neighborhood, and thus completed a land complex sufficient for the construction of a solitaire.
Montera Montenegro, which leads the construction of the Astra Montenegro apartment complex in Zavala with the AMIA buyers' association. One of the founders of MCG Montenegro is Igor Peljučno, the leading man of AMIA.
A land complex of 1 square meters was purchased, on which, according to recently adopted amendments and additions to the DUP Budva-centar, the construction of an eleven-story single-family house with 350 square meters of residential space is planned.
In the opinion of the jury, the author team of the AGM from Serbia, which consisted of Borisav Petrović, Ivan Rašković and Nikola Stojković, was the best out of a total of 18 works, which arrived from Montenegro, Mexico, Germany, Japan, the USA, Ukraine, Serbia , UAE, India, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
The total prize pool was 50 euros.
Montera said that work on the construction of the solitaire will begin on October 1 and be completed by the 2013 tourist season.
