The hearing of the members of the Executive Board of the Željezara and Radvent Trade Union, who the former owner of MNSS accuses of having entered by force on September 28 last year and under threat and coercion forced the director and members of the Board to stop the work meeting and leave the building, was postponed due to the non-appearance of a large number of defendants for 27 February.
Judge Ivan Perović said that there is no evidence that all defendants and witnesses were duly informed of the date of the hearing.
Seven of the 16 trade unionists appeared at the main hearing, as there is no evidence for the others that they were duly informed about the holding of the hearing.
The trial of the members of the Executive Board of the Željezara and Radvent Trade Union on the lawsuit of MNSS began on October 24, and so far none of the board members have appeared.
At the first main trial, four of the 16 accused trade unionists were heard. All the defendants denied guilt and pointed out that there was no force or violence, but that by their act they "protected the management from the consequences that would have occurred if they had been replaced by, rightly, revolted workers".
They then said that the prosecutor changed his thesis and that "fortunately those who destroyed this poor thing should be tried", and that the management should be grateful to them because they "saved their heads", and they are suing them for that. .
