Monthly inflation, measured by the harmonized index of consumer prices, in November, according to Monstat data, recorded a drop of 0,3 percent.
Annual inflation in November amounted to 3,5 percent and is lower than in October, when it amounted to 3,9 percent.
Observed according to the main groups, the only monthly increase in prices was recorded in the clothing and footwear category, 0,1 percent.
The decline was recorded in the groups food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0,9 percent, recreation and culture by 0,3 percent, as well as alcoholic beverages and tobacco and other products and services by 0,1 percent.
The prices of furniture and routine maintenance of an apartment, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, health, transportation, communications, education, and hotels and restaurants remained at the level of the previous month.
Positive annual inflation rates in November were recorded in the categories alcoholic beverages and tobacco 14,7 percent, health 10,5 percent, transportation 7,4 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages 3,9 percent, communications 2,6 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels two percent, other products and services 1,5 percent, hotels and restaurants 1,1 percent and clothing and footwear one percent.
In the groups education 0,7 percent, furniture and routine apartment maintenance 0,3 percent, and recreation and culture 0,3 percent, negative annual inflation rates were recorded.
The minimum consumer basket for November, as announced by Monstat, amounted to EUR 770,6, of which EUR 254,1 refers to food and non-alcoholic beverages, EUR 340,8 to non-food products and services, and EUR 175,7 to the value of imputed rent EUR.
The total value of the minimum consumer basket in November recorded a decrease of 0,02 percent compared to October.
In November, the value of the minimum consumer basket for food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0,1 percent compared to the previous month, while for non-food products and services, the value of imputed rent remained unchanged.
In November this year, compared to the same month last year, the value of the minimum consumer basket increased by 2,1 percent, and compared to December last year, it increased by two percent.
