BWP Europe Consulting will still remain sued for the time being in the dispute initiated by Vladimir Popović from Budva and Carles Collu Palou from Spain against the Government's first partners in the project for the construction of wind power plants on Možura, because, as they claim, they were not paid a commission of 2.000.000 euros each for contracting the work.
Thus, the High Court annulled the decision of the Basic Court to leave Fersa as the only defendant in the proceedings.
Fersa's attorneys appealed against the last decision of the first-instance court that only that company remained sued, after it was discovered during the trial that the other two sued companies did not exist.
BWP Europe Consulting was found to have never been established, and BWP Montenegro, meanwhile, went bankrupt.
The contract for the lease of land and the construction of the Možura HPP was signed in 2010 with the Fersa & Čelebić consortium, which included the Spanish Fersa Energias Renovables and Čelebić from Podgorica, who has since left the job. The contract was signed by then Minister of Economy Branko Vujović.
The special state prosecutor's office is investigating whether there was any corruption in that business.
