The company "Zain Property Development" from Oman will soon start the construction of a diplomatic residential complex worth millions in Zagoric, Podgorica, and the villas will be built by a Montenegrin company, it was confirmed to "News" from the Omani company.
"Zain Property Development" will soon sign a contract with Montenegrin builders, but they did not want to reveal which Montenegrin builder will build luxury villas in the area of the former barracks in Zagoric.
The project is worth six million euros, and will be officially presented to the Montenegrin public next week.
According to "Vijesti" sources, the project in Podgorica is a "test for the European market" for the company from Oman.
"Zain Property Development" has already implemented several similar projects in Oman, they have been registered in Montenegro since 2016.
"Zain", a company owned by the Omani Moos Al Raisi family, bought a 9.696 square meter state plot in Zagoric for 752.201 euros in April 2017.
They received the consent of the chief state architect Dušan Vuksanović on the conceptual design of the complex (residential buildings, square...), which was done by Studio Synthesis architecture&design from Podgorica.
The representatives of the company previously asked the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica to calculate the fee for the communal equipment of the land for the construction of the complex on the land in Zagorič.
At its session on December 29, 2016, the government approved the sale of land in Zagorič.
Acting on the subject request, the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the regular legal procedure, initiated the procedure for the sale of real estate owned by the state of Montenegro, i.e. parts of urban plots, and after obtaining the consent of the Government, published a public invitation to participate in a public tender for the sale of real estate owned by the state of Montenegro, with a total area of 9.696 square meters, estimated value of 77,58 euros per square meter," the Ministry of Finance announced earlier. The executive director of the company, according to the Central Register of Business Entities, is Miloš Milošević, and the founders are members of the Al Raisi family, with 49 percent of shares held by Moosa Mohamed Abudullah Moosa, and 51 percent by Mish 'Al Mohamed Abudullah Moosa. The seat is in Ulica 4. jula on Tuška put in Podgorica.
