As part of the Be Responsible campaign, seven complaints were registered this week, on the basis of which two fines of 100 euros each were imposed.
One praise was recorded, which related to the newly opened cafe Room56 in Nikšić.
The inspectors fined a tavern in Tuzi and a bakery in Pera Ćetkovića Street in Podgorica with 100 euros each, after finding that they did not have a general tax registration.
The inspectors prohibited the performance of activities in both facilities and issued a misdemeanor order in the amount of 100 euros each.
Citizens also complained about the parking lot, but also about the railroad crossing in the Nikšić settlement of Straševina. They warned that the train passes at the time when children finish school and cross the tracks.
"The train sometimes stops, and sometimes it doesn't, it depends on the driver's mood. Sometimes the ramp is lowered, and there is no train at all, and there is a big crowd. Please react, because accidents are happening more and more frequently at that crossing," the application states. .
Irregularities were not found during the control of the pub and the chess club in Podgorica.
The Be Responsible campaign was launched at the end of December 2013 by the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of public awareness and greater involvement of citizens in the fight against the gray economy.
The project enables citizens to simply and quickly point out irregularities, such as non-issuance of fiscal invoices, illegal work or violation of consumer rights, and help the competent institutions to deal with the gray economy as successfully as possible.
Citizens are given three options to report observed irregularities, through the mobile application Be Responsible, website and call centers of the Tax Administration (TA) at number 19707 or the Directorate for Inspection Affairs 080 555 555.
