Today, the Government of Montenegro signed contracts with mediation agents when applying for the acquisition of Montenegrin citizenship through investments.
As announced by the Secretariat for Development Projects, contracts with "Arton group" GmbH Austria and "Henley & Partners government services" LTD Jersey were signed today, while with "Apex capital partners" DOO Podgorica will be signed next week.
By signing the contract, as stated, the prerequisites for issuing licenses are created, that is, the selected agents have the obligation to pay an annual fee of 50 thousand euros to the budget of Montenegro, after which they are handed a license, and they can only perform their activities as licensed agents within this program.
The Secretariat for Development Projects published on January 3 this year a Public Call for the selection of mediation agents.
The Public Call received 21 timely and one untimely application.
As stated, after evaluating the correctness of the applications, the Secretariat made a decision on March 13 this year that the applications of "Arton group" GmbH Austria, "Henley & Partners government services" LTD Jersey and "Apex capital partners" were evaluated as correct.
"The Secretariat has prepared Proposals for a contract on the provision of services of an Agent for mediation in the implementation of a special investment program of special importance for the economic and economic interest of Montenegro, which the Government accepted and authorized Dejan Medojević, Secretary of the Secretariat for Development Projects, to sign on behalf of the Government contracts", the statement added.
