As part of the Be Responsible campaign, 24 complaints were registered this week, on the basis of which three fines were imposed, the largest of which was 2,2 thousand euros.
The inspectors fined the Stars Hotel in Podgorica 2,2 thousand euros for not issuing fiscal invoices, while a 1,5 thousand euro fine was imposed on the Čantrić Construction Material Warehouse in Berane, because records of the purchase and sale of goods were not available to the inspector.
A fine was also imposed on the Kovači store in Tivat, but its amount was not specified. The penalty was imposed because the employer did not determine the schedule for using the weekly vacation.
During the inspection of YU Lovćen Sutomore, the applicants from Sutomore were not found, just as in the case of the complaint about apartments Kaća in Cetinje, no one was found except the owner.
The inspectors could not supervise Certus Montenegro in Podgorica, because the employer ceased to exist, which is why the applicant was advised to contact the founder for claims or, in the last resort, the Central Register of Business Entities, which was conducting the liquidation process.
The inspectors ordered the management of the Health Center in Bijelo Polje, which was reported for not issuing a decision on termination of employment, to eliminate the irregularities.
When it comes to the control of the Municipal Company in Žabljak, it was determined that the inspection cannot initiate administrative proceedings, because the Basic Court has already decided on the initiative in question.
The applicant against the Franca store in Podgorica was advised to contact the Agency for Peaceful Resolution of Labor Disputes or the competent court.
In the case of a report that KIPS in Podgorica did not want to exchange the purchased product, it was determined that the employer nevertheless accepted to do it, while the complainant about healthy food Šimun in Budva gave up on it.
Irregularities were not detected during the inspection of the Smile company from Bar, Bar beach 8C, the parking lot in front of Delta city, the pizzeria Torzo2, the Magic cleaning car wash and the public preschool "Đina Vrbica" in Podgorica, the hair salon in Bijelo Polje and the Hotel Albatros and the company Nedim in Ulcinj .
Citizens complained about the garbage and the unmarked pedestrian crossing.
The Be Responsible campaign was launched at the end of December 2013 by the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of public awareness and greater involvement of citizens in the fight against the gray economy.
The project enables citizens to simply and quickly point out irregularities, such as non-issuance of fiscal invoices, illegal work or violation of consumer rights, and help the competent institutions to deal with the gray economy as successfully as possible.
Citizens are given three options to report observed irregularities, through the mobile application Be Responsible, website and call centers of the Tax Administration (TA) at number 19707 or the Directorate for Inspection Affairs 080 555 555.
