Four companies "Incheon International Airport Corporation" from South Korea, GMR from India, a consortium of French ADP and Turkish TAV and "Corporacion America Airports" from Luxembourg passed the pre-qualification tender for awarding a concession for the Airports of Montenegro.
By today's decision of the Government Commission, these bidders have become qualified bidders and the Government will continue negotiations with them.
The conditions were not met by three bidders "Limak Holding" from Turkey, "Cengiz & Copenhagen Airports" from Turkey and Denmark and the consortium "DAA International - Bouygues Batiment International - Marguerite - TIIC" consisting of companies from Ireland, France and Luxembourg.
After the list of selected bidders is published, the concession contract is drawn up and invitations are sent to qualified bidders. They will have 60 days to submit their final bids, which are re-evaluated by the Tender Commission.
As previously announced by the Government, it is expected that by the beginning of summer, the bidder who will receive both Montenegrin airports for the management of the next 30 years will be known. The main conditions are a one-time fee of no less than 100 million euros and ten percent of the profit.
The company "Incheon International Airport Corporation" manages the largest airport in Asia "Incheon" from Seoul, South Korea. It has an annual traffic of 65 million passengers.
The Indian "GMR Airports Limited" has over 100 million passengers. Their main airports are "Indira Gandhi" in Delhi, as well as Cebu in the Philippines and "Sabiha Gokcen" in Istanbul.
The AdP/TAV consortium has over 120 million passengers at its airports. They manage the "Charles de Gaulle" airport in Paris, they also have airports in Skopje, Bodrum, Tbilisi,... AdP is the dominant owner of TAV.
"Corporacion America Airports SA" mostly manages airports in South America, and from Europe it has Florence, Pisa and Yerevan.
