The contract on the thirty-year lease of the Oboda real estate came into force, after the consortium consisting of the Canadian company Eviana Health Corporation, Montenegro Bio Science and Ramel fulfilled all obligations prescribed by law, it was announced from the Capital of Cetinje.
Thus, as stated, the conditions have been met for the space of the former regional giant in the production of white goods to be given a new purpose, which should primarily affect the increase in economic activity in Cetinje and generate new employment.
"I can state with pleasure that the real estate in Obod is under long-term lease as of today. We have successfully brought this business activity to an end, which should give a new impetus to the development of the city, influence the stabilization of local finances and, most importantly, provide jobs for at least 100 of our fellow citizens," said Mayor Aleksandar Kašćelan.
The consortium will be engaged in the cultivation of industrial hemp and the extraction of CBD oil from the dried flower of industrial hemp for industrial and food purposes.

"The projections are that this branch of the industry will have stable growth at the global level in the coming years, which further strengthens our belief that we have concluded a good business arrangement," Kašćelan said.
The consortium undertook to invest at least 10 million euros within a period of two and a half years from the signing of the contract, and to allocate at least 10 percent of the realized net profit to the account of Prijestonica. The tenant undertook to pay the monthly rent, that is, to pay 660 euros annually to the giro account of Prijestonica.
The capital of Cetinje signed a lease agreement with the Consortium on March 4, 2020, and it entered into force on April 8, 2020. The consortium also submitted two guarantees - an effective guarantee for the fulfillment of the investment worth 300 thousand euros, as well as a guarantee for the payment of rent. After the contract entered into force, a record of the handover of the property was drawn up, with which the lessee formally and legally entered into possession of the property.
