This was the answer given by the Ministry of Economy (MEK) to "Vijesti" to the question of whether it is discrimination between companies from the same F construction sector that deal with electrical installations, given that some can apply for subsidies and others cannot, about what "Vijesti" wrote yesterday.
Companies whose main activity is code: 4321 - installation of electrical installations are entitled to a subsidy, and those companies whose main activity is code: 4222 - construction of electrical and telecommunication lines are not entitled to a subsidy.
"Code 43.21 includes activities related to installation services of various electrical and telecommunication systems and equipment in buildings, households and business premises, which, considering the situation due to the new coronavirus epidemic, was reduced to a minimum. This code includes the installation of electrical systems in all types of buildings and other structures: installation of electrical lines and connections, telecommunication lines, lines for computer networks, cable television, including optical cables, satellite antennas, lighting systems, fire alarms, burglar alarm systems , street lighting and electrical signals, lighting on airport runways, connecting electrical household appliances, including underfloor heating," the Ministry stated.
They specified that there are a total of 172 companies and entrepreneurs with 1.062 employees under that activity code.
"Code 42.22 covers the construction of lines for the distribution of electricity and telecommunications, interlocal and local communication and energy transmission lines and networks, power plants. When it comes to the activities of the energy and telecommunications sector, as activities of public interest, they were obliged to ensure the continuous provision of their services to all citizens and business entities, and in accordance with this, all companies that for their needs carry out the construction and maintenance of energy and telecommunication lines , the network and the power plant were able to perform their tasks continuously", added the Ministry and explained that there are 27 companies with 203 employees with that code.
